It only takes 2 hours to get there from Fullerton but the mountain roads are very tough. I got carsick when we got there. I think big bear mountain is the highest mountain in the all of Southern California. The altitude of green valley lake is 7000 meters. Because of this my friends and I got altitude sickness the first day:)
You may have a question that what you can do when you at a mountain. Actually, you can do lots of things such as hiking, seeing sunrise, relaxing and so on. I did some hiking with my friend. It was fun and the green valley lake is famous for hiking. The trails are different from normal ones. It is more like come from the natural. I really enjoy hiking there.
Beside hiking the green valley lake is a place for study. It is very quiet and peaceful. The air is fresh. Also there are a lot of greens in there. So it could provide oxygen for studying.
Anyways, this was the best vacation ever!! I hope I can go there again!!
It was great place. I went there before, but I have just accompanied my friend went to ski. When they skied, I just went around the Big Bear city. I think it is great to go on Winter, because there will have snow everywhere. And all the houses are very unique and cute. They have bear miniature to decorate their houses.
ReplyDeletethe cabins looks good, but there was a big fire happened at 3 years ago, many cabins were burned by the fire!
